Porsche Carrera GT

Porsche has since its inception by Ferdinand Porsche been a maker of high performance sports cars. Most notably the iconic 911 model which has continually evolved throughout the years to become a benchmark against which many other sports cars are measured. The 911 in all its iterations has been Porsche's bread and butter, along with the Boxster and Cayman in more recent years. Every decade or so however, Porsche brings something special out of it's factories. A supercar!

Porsche Carrera GT
Despite all of her remarkable design features and super car personality, Porsche prides itself on creating a super car that can be driven on a daily basis. The air conditioning, traction control, the GPS navigation system, an incredible Bose sound system, and a complimentary 5 piece matching leather luggage set were offered as standard equipment. She is performance and pleasure all wrapped up into a package that can't be denied.

2011 Porsche Cayenne Review

The new Porsche Cayenne is an SUV car with sports car performance. Cayenne could be most prestigious SUV available on earth. BMW X5 and Mercedes Benz ML 550 at the similar class are not overtly sporty like Cayenne. As a car company, Porsche was really brave entering the SUV market. Do they have the expectation in leading the premium SUV market?

Though critics have knocked the fact that the sporty posh car maker has been dabbling in SUVs, they may close their lips after seeing the new 2011 Porsche Cayenne.

Porsche had designed the basic casting for crankcase in GT3 as similar to an air cooled engine and casting number of 964 underneath the crankcase. The same style was adopted by the company till the production of 2004 GT3 model cars. However, the casting of crankcase was modified in mid 2004 to a 996 casting crankcase.

A mid-ranged roadster, amongst the most expensive cars in its class, the Boxster is the first road vehicle made by Porsche since 550 Spyder. Therefore, the owners of this vehicle think twice when it comes to replacing its old parts with new ones and lookout for people who second their concerns. Porsche Boxster has seen minor modifications since its first release but overall has been the same popular car. A true Boxster fan will love to retain the parts of the car but would also not like to compromise on quality when these would need replacements. Hence, they would want a genuine dealer which could provide them quality products at the right price. There is various such dealers who understands this and offers high quality Boxster parts at very competitive rates

The sports cars transmission comes in manual or automatic versions and some race enthusiasts will enjoy the optional seven-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission. The value of the seventh speed allows highway drivers to save as much as 11% on fuel economy, but Porsche also offers emissions upgrades to make the Boxster sound better than competition too.

2011 Porsche Boxster The Luxury Sports Cars

Porsche Boxster had its initial launch in the 1990s. The comfort offered by Boxster is exceptional and unique. The smooth handling of Porsche Boxster models and their parts were positive aspects.

Surprisingly, these cars are fairly fuel efficient at 19 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway with the seven speed transmission. But, these cars require premium fuel in the expansive 16.9 gallon fuel tank.

Performance Porsche Panamera Turbo Sport Car Tuning

New Porsche Panamera TurboNew Porsche Panamera Turbo a slouch in the horsepower department, but if you happen to be one them, you may want to take a look at the new performance enhancement program from APS, the UK importer of the Swiss tuning firm Sportec.

Buyers can start off with the Stage One conversion that uses a reprogrammed ECU with optimized settings for fueling, ignition and turbo boost parameters to bump the V8′s output from a quoted 493bhp and 516 lb-ft, to a dyno proven 560bhp at 6,150 rpm and 576 lb-ft (790 Nm) of torque at 3,340 rpm.

New Porsche Panamera TurboWith this kit, the German sports saloon can sprint to 100km/h (62mph) in 3.9 seconds, a 0.3 seconds improvement over the standard model, while top speed is electronically limited to 195mph (315km/h). The ECU upgrade is priced at £,2900 fitted and including tax.

If that’s not enough, Sportec has developed a Stage Two package. Along with the recalibrated ECU, the kit adds of a cat back stainless steel sports exhaust system featuring quad 90mm tail pipes and a pair of ‘sound throttles’ that allow the driver to adjust the sound levels using a supplied remote control.

In this case, power is kicked up to 575 bhp at 5,800 rpm and 598 lb-ft 820 Nm (820 Nm) between 3,000-4,250 rpm. The tuner claims 0-100km/h (62mph) acceleration takes 3.8 seconds, while top speed is once again limited to 195mph (315km/h). This package will set you back £7,990.

The company also offers a variety of other upgrades including 22 inch forged alloy wheels, suspension and braking systems, as well as cosmetic enhancements.

2011 Porsche Sport Cars Cayman R

2011 Porsche Sport Cars Cayman R
A couple days ago Porsche released a press statement saying that it will unveil a new “mid-engine sports car” at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show, it’s 2011 Porsche Cayman R. The Porsche alphabet reserves the letter R for very special sports cars: R for responsive and refined – but most especially for racy. The new Cayman R combines all these attributes without compromise. 2011 Porsche Sport Cars Cayman R has further developed the car by reducing weight, increasing horsepower and raising agility and handling to new heights.
Weighing 55 kg less than the equivalent Cayman S, and the new mid-engine coupé from Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, is designed for spectacular road behaviour, the 330 hp Porsche Cayman R has been created for one reason: pure, distilled driving dynamics. With its highly-tuned sports suspension and vigilant attention to weight savings, the new Cayman model offers a driving experience even more precise than that of the acclaimed Cayman S. The 2011 Porsche Sport Cars Cayman R makes its world debut today at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
2011 Porsche Sport Cars Cayman R
Power for the 2011 Porsche Sport Cars Cayman R comes from a tuned 3.4L inline 6-cylinder engine making a total of 330-hp allowing for a 0-62 mph time of 5 seconds when mated to a 6-speed manual and 4.9 seconds when mated to Porsche’s 7-speed PDK transmission. Adding the optional Sport Chrono packages brings the 0-62 mph time down to 4.7 seconds. Top speed for the 2011 Porsche Sport Cars Cayman R comes in at 175 mph with a 6-speed manual and 174 mph with the PDK.
For interior 2011 Porsche Sport Cars Cayman R has features Alcantara and leather upholstery, sport seats, strap door handles and a painted console color-keyed to the exterior. Under the skin, the suspension has been enhanced with shorter, more rigid springs and there are customized anti-roll bars on the front and rear axles (the ride height is about 20 millimeters lower than the Cayman S).

Tracing its lineage back to the famous mid-engined 904 coupes of the 1960s, the Porsche Cayman R celebrates its world premiere at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show on November 17, 2010.
